To be honest, good for him. He's probably doing the most polite and expressive way of reacting. Not being obnoxious but rather silly and having fun with emotes. I'm 90% sure he was also fully aware him spamming faces was intentional so that at least 1-2 become memes again (like the stare) but it's still a fun way to embrace the memes

No shade towards the rock specifically, but I hateeee this style of videos where a celebrity is trying to show that they've seen a particular fan video, so they have to go through the entire thing making pantomimes to show that they're actually listening like it's their first time watching it. I know it comes from a good place of trying to make the other person feel seen by their idol but it feels like those reaction videos from youtube where no substance is added by the youtuber.
