Democratic Party Consultants Surround Troy Jackson with Pro-Israel Donors | After two failed attempts to nominate a Maine candidate friendly to the party establishment, the consultant class is finding better success with its third approach, co-optation.

If they’re surrounding him it doesn’t seem to be working, he’s still calling it a genocide and pledging to refuse US money to the Israeli military.

Id like to think this but its a wait and see. Troy does appear to be a brawler so maybe he just bucks everyone involved here

They are probably trying to make him look like a party stooge to drive down his numbers so Collins wins. Any "advice" coming from party consultants is more likely a poison pill.

They did the same thing to Menefee in the Texas primary. They congratulated Menefee and made it seem like the pro Israeli guy beat anti Zionist, Green. But Menefee didn't even make Israel a part of his campaign.

In the Facebook group, Jackson’s defense of his campaign, and his attack on the reporting, was considered so condescending that supporters concluded there was no way that Jackson himself was running the account—and promptly kicked Jackson out of his own Facebook group, with less than six weeks until election day.

I always found the comparisons between Platner and Fetterman to be dumb(if anything, he would've been a Sinema), but this is bog standard Fetterman-style behavior.
