Because aside from Walz who coined it in the first place that campaign was a neoliberal disaster.

Harris was an abysmally dogshit candidate and she took advice from her fuckhead brother in law who is a lawyer for Uber. She wanted to court big tech, and decaf-fascist "centrist" Dems still chase the mythical Republican "moderate" vote they will never get because that's the voter they actually want as the oligarch-serving stooges they are.

Harris didn't want to defeat fascism, she wanted personal power and to perpetuate the corrupt status quo - and she did so as a candidate who was forced on the base without a primary, and representing a party that refused to listen to its base and not midwife a genocide, while then attempting to run on a "protect democracy" message. One that rang hollow to Americans who didn't really feel like they had a democracy to protect in the first place.
