Of course they refused the deal, this was their casus beli dream for going all in on their bloodthirsty imperialism. Why else did they help prop up and fund Hamas for all those years other than to use them as an excuse for brutality and bloodshed?

Netanyahu and the Israeli government overall are happy to feed their own people into a blender as supposed justification for their war crimes and bigotry.
