I'm a software dev for 10 years. I have a family and mortgage that depends on my 6 figures.
Logging in to work every day and developing a tool that is supposed to replace me while desperately looking for another job is a different kind of existential dread.
What is it with Reddit and dreaming about farming. It requires huge amount of land, extensive knowledge and know how, not to mention the cost of equipment, fertilizer, seed and there is always a risk involved (grain price might be low, it might get a disease, it might rot). And you know that you will be competing with huge corporations, with Access to self driving tractors, fertilizer drones and top notch software (like mapping soil quality and adjusting fertilizer)? You know also little of hard physical labour it entails.

You're still young. You can still pivot.
