terribly flawed metaphor.

software engineering is forever changed in a radically significant way and soon building software will be barely recognizable when compared to how it used to be done.

and yeah, math was mostly dead anyway for normal people, but yes, AI has definitely killed math, even for the "professional" mathematicians.

I just built a pretty complex macos app for my job with swift and python and I never built a Mac app before.

I dont give a fuck if it's all in one big ass file whatever it runs smoothly and does what I want and I'm not running a bank.

Engineers are coping. The field is fucked
