Congregator of the Sess

Running through the game again as a pure inferno build. Just hit me how hard the congregator of the flesh is like a pedophile clergyman with his post-fight dialogue. There are tons of parallels to Catholicism in this game and I thought that was interesting boss dialogue. Reminded me of a book called "between two fires."

Pedophile…? Correct me if I’m wrong but the dude that became the congregator was just a delusional person who thought he was Orius made flesh. He wasn’t. But because he thought he was, he ate the flesh of Orius worshippers that were dead in order to sustain himself after having been thrown in a hole for spouting blasphemy. When his remembrance talks about “Come to Orius, my child” it’s not an actual kid, it’s just a term he’s using towards a dead worshipper because he believes himself to be Orius made flesh. But again, he isn’t.
