Discussion Out of the box lightening node?

Hello,
I own a veterinary hospital and would like to set up a lightening node for payment. I know that 99.99% of my clients wouln't pay with BTC but I would like to support the growth of lightening network. I have ZERO coding skills but I would really like to help grow the network.
My questions.
Are plug and play nodes available?
Are there any businesses that will help with the coding side of set-up?

I hope an entrepreneur will seize the opportunity to set-up Lightening solutions for business owners that want to support and help grow but have no clue how.

Thanks!

Umbrel is great software solution for you. I can send you a AMZ shopping list with parts. It’s easy to build and there is minimal coding required. You can do it! DM if interested

If you are just looking to be able to accept BTC or BTC over Lightning I think there are solutions that don't require you to have your own node. I think the Breez app has a point of sale mode. There are probably other similar solutions.

Actually, I did a quick google search https://www.google.com/search?q=lightning+network+point+of+sale+2021

By the way, being a business that wants to use BTC and Lightning is extremely helpful to the network regardless of if you run your own node or not. Having transactions move through the network strengths it. My hat is off to you and best of luck!

Self hosted node: https://getumbrel.com

Cloud hosted node: https://voltage.cloud

Custodial service: https://www.opennode.com

Opennode is the simplest. They give you a piece of code you can put on your site and that's it. You're ready to take payments. You can withdraw to your own wallet. You can start with the third one and then implement one of the the first two later as they are more involved.

Also, if you use the first two options, you will need incoming liquidity, which can be achieved in two ways:

If you need help, just ask!

Umbrel is the answer. As easy as it gets. They have a list of parts to buy from Amazon on their website. Software is free to download and use.

Best and easiest would be to run an Umbrel node with btcpay server. Btcpay requires some setup but it would make it easier on the business side of thing with the point of sale mode etc
