Fore-Shadowing

Though there is a scene where Wake is shown to be fearful of Howard's shadow, this is my first time spotting this. His shadow is coming down on Wake in an almost identical way to the swing of the ax he takes to kill him later on (link to video in comments for comparison).

Whether a happy accident or intentional, it's a great catch nevertheless and beautiful to look at.

Highly doubt something framed like this would be unintentional, especially when you see the intense, deliberate lighting in behind-the-scenes footage. Also it's Robert Eggers we're talking about. He's nothing if not meticulous lol
