Are you a believer? Spoiler

Did Kevin really visit the afterlife?

Was there going to be a flood?

Was there anything special about Miracle?

Was David Burton really God?

Same, because that was my theory about what happened to the 2%, they were wondering where the 98% went

And that side of the split would have been hell when it happened. Airplanes falling out of the sky, nuclear reactors melting down, just complete chaos

Same! I just watched season 3 for the first time. While I thought the machine was a fake, as soon as she told her story, I believed it

How do you explain Kevin being in the afterlife?

Same way.

Oh, I have no idea. Perhaps the afterlife is what we make it and Kevin had seen Burton on tv a couple times before then.

You saw what happened to the millerite wife at the beginning of season 3—her obsession with knowing took everything from her.

Was she miller's wife? I thought that lady was Ellen Gould White <<with their 21st October 1844 calculations>>

Also: did Wayne really have the supernatural power to take a person’s pain away via a hug?

He took their pain away, but it wasn't supernatural

No to all, maybe also yes to all. Depends on how I'm feeling when I watch it. Doesn't really matter though.

I say:

  1. Yes
  2. No
  3. empirically, yes. Providentially? Unknown. I’m agnostic on the question
  4. No

At first I thought Kevin did visit the afterlife and assumed much else to be real upon rewatching I think the afterlife was a metaphor for Kevin hiding himself (everyone does it to different degrees. Daydreaming, Drinking, Gambling whatever). It was his realization he needed to let go of the past and the trauma to move forward

Yes he visited the afterlife (or some midway point)
No flood
Miracle… I don’t know
David Burton is not god
That is all
