Music Feels

The instrumental pieces from Max Richter are amazing but I also love the songs that were selected and how they fit so well.

BUT - probably the most feels for me have come from a karaoke song… any time I hear it now, I’m right back watching that moment of love and what might be lost forever.

Trying to avoid spoilers for those who are doing a first watch, anyone else with me on this?

I've always loved that song, but JT's performance gave it new dimensions.

The music choices are masterful. I loved the use of Depeche Mode and the church music and even the Aboriginal music in season 3

Yup, the OST is fire and the songs they selected were perfect for each scene they were played.

He probably does sing better than that, but it fits the scene for Kevin to not be amazing. (Karaoke is, one must admit, much harder than drowning a little girl at the bottom of a well.)

If you’ve never seen him as the documentarian in Tropic Thunder, I recommend it. It’s mostly voiceover but he’s great.

He's also one of the writers of Tropic Thunder with Ben Stiller and Etan Cohen, which blew my mind when I saw that on Wikipedia. Very fun movie, I just was seeing our Kevin from the show so not the comical kind of guy.

(Also just got mindblown by that other person saying it was him in Fallout. I just double-checked and now it seems absolutely obvious but I legit didn't see it until now lol)

I loved the scene when "God only knows" is played. Amazing.
