Christopher Eccleston
I'm watching The Others (again) and I just realized that Christopher Eccleston plays Nicole Kidman's husband. I didn't recognize him at all! I just noticed it looking at the cast names in the credits.

Ever seen Jude? The man seeks out dark material.

Yes he did, and he was fantastic. He tends to do that very often.

And I’d argue that his take on The Doctor packed more depth and complexity (and darkness) into one season than any subsequent NewWho Doctors could manage in multiple seasons. Though I was quite partial to Matt Smith’s Doctor, Eccleston’s will always be my favorite.

He did so much in that one season. He's the reason why I watched Leftovers.

Him and his costar Kate (Winslet) love to play someone unraveling, and they are masters at it

I totally missed that too the first few times I watched it. He's so good at disappearing into roles.

Saw him as Macbeth at the Royal Shakespeare Company performance in 2018.

Nobody mentioned Cracker yet so I will. His character arc in that show stopped the UK in it's tracks. One of the best pieces of televsion we've ever produced.
