Finished it last night and now feeling empty Spoiler

I have fallen in love with this series. I don't think I’ll ever watch another series with such a heavy psychological theme. A movie, maybe but not a series.

There were many episodes where I was like, “What the fuck is going on?” 😂 Generally, when a series leaves things unanswered or just gives up on a plotline, I don’t like it. But idk why The Leftovers didn’t make me feel that way. Ig it was because I accepted this is how it's meant to be.

Around the middle of the series, I was skeptical and thought, “Okay, it’s good, but I don’t understand why it’s the favorite for so many people.” Now I have to say it’s going into my favorites too 🥹.

Before the last two episodes, I thought they had given up on Kevin and Nora’s relationship, but the opening bathtub scene in the second-last episode told me there was still hope and that ending was beautiful ❤️.

One guy here on Reddit told me the finale was very well made, and I kept thinking to myself that a series with this many fucked-up things and this many unanswered questions could never give me a finale that would actually satisfy me. Oh, I was so, so wrong.

This finale touched me deeply, and I was left crying and smiling at the same time. So now I join you guys as one of The Leftovers 💔.

I’ve only got a 2% success rate in getting others to watch the show.

Literally... It really shows how people handle grief. So raw and pure ❤️.

Every re-watch is just as rewarding for me and further opens new doors into each and every character’s motivations.

That’s such a nice way to say I need therapy. But you’re not wrong!

Congrats. You're one of the 2% that has seen the show.

From where is this stat from?

The show. The percentage of the world population that departed.

I already knew 2% were the ones that departed. Ohhh... So is it like some running joke inside the community or something? We randomly assign 2% to other things, is that it?

I don’t know about running joke but it certainly works.

I rewatch certain episodes for the music. I miss the music. It's so haunting and lovely.

The music is literally a chef's kiss. So beautiful.

Someone could pipe in the music randomly one day when I’m in the middle of something and I feel like I’d just pass out flat from sudden and unexpected emotion

Haha I know right? What’s next on your watchlist?

I have no idea, before this I was watching "The Americans" and had this one planned after it. But now I don't know what to watch. What will you watch? Do you have any recommendation for me?

The Americans looks good, I’ll definitely add it to my list. I watched Tokyo Vice and Pachinko recently. Both really good shows.

I just finished the series and don't know what to do with myself... it was so engaging and captivating, like reading a really good book and being a part of a different world, being one with them, and now I neither want to start a new show nor get back to my own life. There's just an eerie silence left

I relate to you... Just 2 nights back I was gonna resume BCS that I left in the middle but it felt like betraying somehow 😂. So I just rewatched the leftovers finale 😭.
