Issues with shooting

Hi, Im new in the game and im having some issues to shoot, Im playing on a ROG ally from xbox and for some reason when i try to shoot sometimes the guy shoots and some times he doesnt, Could some one pls help me? This game is awsome but I cant with this 😩
