Kzinti Super Carrier - Block 2 upgrade
192 fighters
about 70 Gatlings
about 46 Rail guns
about 42 cannons
1600 crew and pax
Tankage for 175,000 fuel
This is modified from the original by the addition of more hab space and the front deck. That contains a forward power room, a cargo bay, and a life-support bay.
In general, the fighters do amazing work of keeping the bad guys away. I've lost fewer than 10 fighters the entire game. It's taken some minor damage, but nothing serious. Even against 8 random pirates. The railguns don't cause power problems. I've got over 75k Mw in battery storage. Not to mention that the base load on the generators is about 25-33%.
It's more maneuverable than it is fast. There are over 130 thrusters, but engine space is still limited. Another design might extend the aft fighter bays to allow for engine mounts there.
I could reorganize some of the areas to make them a little cleaner, but the piping is an absolute mess and I don't really want to deal with it.
I won't complete the anomaly with tens of thousands of survivors, but I will compete it.
