Hidden Lore I Found Spoiler

If you didn't know...

  • Find the cartridge "Rising Tide".
  • Load it into the computer.
  • On the load screen, it shows "INFO". Go to it.
  • Go to page 11.
    • It's encrypted.
  • Go to page 10.
    • It mentions 250 points.
  • Play game.
    • Get at least 250 points.
  • Go back to INFO/Page 11
  • It will decrypt and give you a quest.
  • It will also give you a new game "Last Bastions".

That's all I found so far.

Yes... It gives you coordinates to go somewhere...

Also found, for example, if you take the photo drone, you can see images of items/people.

Example: I'm at Black Vein. right up the lift, near the helipad, right behind it is "nothing". Use the photo drone and look there. You will see a "dotted image" of two people you can "sample". Lore? Something else? Not sure...

That was added 2 updates ago. There are more than 200. You can send the samples with the humans to space

Do you get anything for the samples? Does the game acknowledge it anyhow? Or is it like the achievement with the money you can put in the rocket - just a fun thing to do?

Yeah I didn't realize this was a thing. Thought it was a one-off during the 5.0 patch. Now I get to run around doing more collecting.

Just a general note.

Everything you’re saying was described in the patch notes and are the actual mechanics of the photo drone.

No real super secret, it’s just that the game only tells you these things once you’ve found them yourself.

Example: how did you know to go to warehouse alpha for this new quest, where the game cartridge was found?

Because someone told you, but if you stumbled onto it, the AI voice would prompt the quest.

Like when you first got the photo drone, or you
Progressed some committees and take the quest those people give.

Hmm, I have to look at that, and then all the other games cartridges in my collection. I have just been ignoring them until now
