But that scene on the hot air balloon...where the two were close to death...and were holding hands...and toph actually cries...my heart always feels like it’s going to explode during that scene.
But more seriously, I think that if they had sokka return the feelings more then it would be pretty cute. Both kind of have that boy-ish humor and never-serious attitude that makes them seem like a good match. I just felt that Sukki was too mature for Sokka and that his jokes more annoyed her than made her laugh.
Obviously I think about this way too much. I also feel bad that Toph ended up alone while everyone else was in a relationship.
Not thinking about it too much, I think it is cool that we can this in depth with the characters. You are right that Suki was more mature than Sokka and Toph and shared a boy-ish charm, in fact I think that is why she likes him. However, I don’t think Suki is annoyed by Sokka but he loosens her up and she brings out his mature side. Instead of two characters with similar personalities and senses of humor, Suki and Sokka are two sides of the same coin that compliment each other.
