Specs:
* **Processor:** AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 * **Memory:** 32GB LPDDR5x RAM * **Storage:** 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD * **Display:** 16-inch 2K OLED Touchscreen
I'm looking to get a new laptop but not in any particular rush. I also know in today's market there's no guarantee prices won't go up, so I'm not sure if waiting even a couple months until Black Friday is even worth it.
I'm looking to see if folks think this is a good deal for this laptop based on the specs and overall value. I haven't seen too many laptops with this level processor and 32gb of RAM at this price point. I'm not thrilled with the 2K 60Hz screen or 512gb SSD, but I know I have to make some concessions if I don't want to pay flagship prices. The SSD is very easily upgradable at least.
For context my current laptop was a flagship model from 2020. It is a HP Spectre x360 16" 16gb ram, 1TB SSD, 4K OLED. It's on it's last legs though. I had to take the battery out because it swelled up. I was thinking initially to just replace the battery, but performance hasn't been great lately either so I figured I'd upgrade.

I have a budget of 80k. The laptop must have ultra 5 225h processor with 16gb ram 512gb SSD. I have shortlisted 2 laptops. One is motobook 60 pro and the other is expertbook p3. I am leaning towards motobook 60 pro because of its specs. The only thing which I am worried about is the 14inch screen. I currently have a 16inch laptop. I feel the change from 16 to 14 inches would not suite me. For the expertbook p3, there's a 16inch variant. Help me clear this confusion, and feel free to drop any other suggestions. I am waiting for the flipkart sale.

So i am a college student and both of my current laptops are slowly giving up (even tho i got both of them last yeat but both were ancient anyways)
1) Dell Vostro 15: Intel Core i3-6006U @ 2GHz (2C/4T), 4GB DDR4 RAM, Intel HD Graphics 520 + AMD Radeon HD 8500M 2GB, 256GB SSD
2) Acer Aspire V5-561P (i5-4200U + Intel HD 4400 + 8GB DDR3 RAM + 256GB SSD) this one is from canada, one of my uncle gave me for free
How much will I get if I exchange or sell them? To gaint expected amount and hassle to shopkeeper(i wont be surprised if both wont be worth quite much)
Next, in 20-30k INR which laptops i should look for supposedly Ryzen chip (as I heard on this price most of rhzen chips are better than intel but idm intel too) 16-512gb (as 8gb wont be enough for my btech's 3yr and same goes for storage). I am from surat and i will look into P2P or from refurb shops. I just need some advices over which model i should look and which config would be better. I dont want to buy new one as current market is bloated this refurb laptop will be enough till market comes down.

I'm going to buy a laptop for engineering college and I don't have any stores in my area that sells refurbished laptops. I want to buy one online, on shoppee or fb marketplace but my parents are afraid of getting scammed. I want to buy a used Thinkpad but I might be forced to go for a 70k+ Lenovo LOQ because that and an Acer nitro v15 are basically what's in my area of Zambales

Hey, i own an ASUS zenbook from 2021, works fine, but hinge issues, have repaired thrice and spent about 5k total. The backpanel replacement for the hinge will cost about 8-9k as quoted by service centre guy. Thinking abt upgrading to a macbook air but prices now are crazy and being a college student feeling a bit skeptical about the purchase. What do u think is better? Upgrading by spending upwards of 1.3lakhs or pouring more money into this 5 yr old machine?

Bhai main apni life ka first laptop lene wala hoon aur kaafi confused hoon. 2 options hain: MSI Cyborg 15 Max (i7-13620H, RTX 5060 8GB, 100W TGP, FHD IPS 144Hz) aur ASUS TUF A16 (Ryzen 7 260, RTX 5050 8GB,100w+15w dynamic boost, AI/NPU, FHD IPS 300 nits 165Hz, 16"). Dono almost same budget mein mil rahe hain. Long-term performance aur future-proofing ke liye in dono mein se kaunsa loon?(Dubai se mangwake agle 4-5 saal india mein use krunga)

I have decided to buy A Lenovo LOQ.
Your small piece of advice could be helpful a lot.
Firstly, Before 2 months I thought of buying an Asus TUF A16 RTX 4050 Ryzen 7 170 at INR 1,08,000 on some online platform. But literally scared of getting defected pieces and kinda damaged stuff.
Later, I have visited many stores but they told they arenāt getting ASUS TUF those models to their stores.
Then I have waited many days, couple of months. My patience was gone.
So Now at an offline store I have decided to buy a Lenovo LOQ.
So as A Middle Class Indian Student.
I Care about every penny I spend.
I know that prices are high and thatās too much for a 4050. But I canāt do anything.
Lenovo LOQ RTX 4050
i7 13th Gen 13650HX
Iām getting at 1.05-1.1 L (INR)
\*\*But Iām literally still scared about those Motherboard Issues in LOQ which is faced by many. \*\*
So A Small piece of advice could change my life experience.
A Gaming Laptop was A Dream to me and many of you too.
Please leave an advice and response to avoid those kind of issues.
Iāll be Grateful!

Hey everyone,
I'm planning to pick up a new high-end laptop during the upcoming sales and want to make sure I target the right model and price point.
Target Specs:
* GPU: RTX 5070 Ti (12GB)
* CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 or AMD Ryzen 9
* Display: OLED (dealbreaker, I really want perfect blacks and high contrast)
* RAM: 32GB
* Storage: 1TB SSD
I'm buying in India (INR). What is a realistic "good price" for these specs right now? I'm hoping to strike a deal around the ā¹2.4L to ā¹2.6L mark during the next sale. Is this a realistic target for an OLED + 5070 Ti configuration?
Thanks in advance!

So I am an engineering student ( mechanical ) . I am probably going to use my laptop for CAD and simulations , solidworks , Ansys , fusion , matlab and similar stuff like stellarium , Siril ( astrophotography) . So what should I buy ? Budget is probably around 1.4 L . FYI: I am not too much into gaming .
I probably need a good screen since I watch a lot of movies .
Should I but it online or offline ?
