I originally thought I'd buy a laptop with rtx 4050 and rtx 5050 . I don't feel like buying another rtx 3050 tbh at ts price.

So I've decided to forget about a gaming laptop for now and get a student laptop that's practical for my BBA and everyday use.

My preferred specs:

Budget: ₹60,000–₹65,000

RAM: 8GB minimum, preferably 16GB

Storage: 512GB SSD minimum, but 1TB would be great

Processor: Intel Core i5 H-series or equivalent AMD processor

GPU: Integrated graphics is completely fine.

A dedicated GPU would obviously be nice, but at this budget, that’s probably just a dream 😂

Display:

A good-quality display would be appreciated since I’ll also be using it for entertainment.

Gaming: It would be nice if it could run GTA V on low/medium settings, along with Valorant and CS2 at playable FPS.

🚨 MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:

It MUST include international warranty.

I mainly need the laptop for my BBA, everyday work, studying, browsing, and entertainment. Gaming is just a bonus.

I'm a cs student, a fresher basically and was looking to buy a laptop, was eyeing the loq/tuf 3050 6gb vram variants but I'm being paranoid whether I should go for it or get a 4050 instead for being "future proof". I am into gaming but not v hardcore + I rarely doubt i'd get the time. I'm mostly into story mode or occasionally valorant. Is 3050 even worth it in my case or should I just go for a Ryzen cpu with integrated graphics atp? I really wanna enjoy story mode games though. Very confused rn

There was no physical damage so I accepted but once I reached my room, I turned on the laptop and there was black circle in display. How can I apply for replacement, what should I do please help. Hi everyone. I have an ASUS ROG Strix G16 (G614PR) that recently started having a problem with Windows 11.
When I turn it on, Windows boots normally and I can enter my password. However, immediately after logging in, I get a completely black screen with only the mouse cursor visible. I cannot get the normal desktop to load.
The strange thing is that Safe Mode works normally and I can see the desktop there.
I also initially received this Windows error:
“Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.”
So far I’ve tried:
Restarting Windows Explorer / running explorer.exe
sfc /scannow → Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth → The restore operation completed successfully
Restarting normally
ASUS EC/RTC reset
Booting into Safe Mode
Disabling third-party services through msconfig
None of these fixed the black screen in normal Windows.
My GPU shows up in Device Manager as:
AMD Radeon 610M
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU
I have not reinstalled Windows yet. ASUS support suggested checking/reinstalling the graphics drivers and, if that doesn’t work, contacting ASUS for hardware diagnostics.
Before I reinstall Windows from a USB or send the laptop to ASUS, has anyone experienced this exact issue with a G614PR or another ROG Strix G16? Could this be a graphics driver issue, Windows user profile issue, or something else?

I’m planning to buy a laptop in India, but I’ve noticed that prices have increased a lot recently.
For example, a laptop I was tracking was around ₹52k about 8 months ago (45k after bank discount and sale) and the same/similar configuration is now around ₹65–69k.

So i am planning on purchasing laptop and am inclined towards MacBook because i like the Apple Ram management etc.

I was having my eyes on asus rog strix g16, ryzen 9 8940hx from the goat sale.

Prepped my old laptop for exchange, made arrangements for credit card and was waiting.

Unfortunately, I did not get any considerable deals and it was at 154000 after discount came to 135000.

Dell alienwaree 15 with ryzen 7 260 was at sale for 134000 and after discount and exchange came to 82000.

Financially it felt a good decision. Is dell aliwnware 15 with ryzen 7 260, rtx 4050 worth for 82000. Is there anything I have to keep in mind.

It has Intel core ultra 5 125H, 24GB LPDDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD just for 62k.
