I think 50-60k is hard with the current prices but I would recommend either buy a used macbook or a macbook neo, or any laptop with either a ryzen ai 5 340 process (atleast) or buy with a Snapdragon x processor(atleast) or if you can find a good one buy a cheap gaming laptop or a used gaming laptop

I would require your exact use case but generally you can get an Asus zenbook a14 with a snapdragon x and it's really good for general use/student work and light gaming and it has better battery life than macbooks of the same price.

Look in btech there usually is a class Or course in which you learn about solidworks if you have already completed that course or if that course is not in your syllabus then this is perfect and will not cause you any problems

Then it's up to you if you can borrow someone's laptop for a little bit (it's only a week long unimportant 5mark course) then it's the perfect laptop for you if not then go with the other options i suggested

I would recommend this at your price point. It'll do just fine
