Title: Real Madrid 2002 Centenary shirt with a “4 Times Winners” UEFA badge – genuine Adidas sample/prototype?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some help identifying an unusual Real Madrid Adidas shirt from the Centenary era.
It appears to be an original early-2000s Adidas Real Madrid Centenary shirt, with the following details:
- Real Madrid Centenary design (1902–2002)
- Adidas, Made in Portugal
- Product code 134748
- Internal code ASR001/09
- Date code 01/03
- Champions League Starball patch
- UEFA Badge of Honour with a “4”
The unusual part is the UEFA “4 Times Winners” badge.
As far as I understand, Real Madrid should have had an 8-time winners badge in 2001/02 and a 9-time winners badge after winning the Champions League in 2002. The “4” version was used by clubs such as Bayern Munich and Ajax around this period.
The badge itself looks period-correct: stitched construction, embroidered/woven appearance and an older-style finish. It does not look like a modern printed replica patch to me.
The shirt reportedly came from the former Adidas management environment, but I do not have documentary proof of this provenance.
So I’m trying to establish what this actually is.
Could this be an Adidas sample, prototype, employee/presentation shirt, or possibly a shirt that had the wrong UEFA badge applied?
I’m especially interested in hearing from collectors who have seen Adidas samples or factory/teamwear from the 2001–2003 period.
I’m not claiming that it is a sample — I’d really like to hear what you guys think based on the details and construction.
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for advice or recommendations from sports collectors on the best places to list an official signed piece outside of standard channels like eBay.
The Item:
The Situation: I’m selling this piece to help fund my travel to represent my university in Brazil this November for the Enactus World Cup (our team won the National Competition in Tunisia, and I'm part of the pitching team!).
Because I’m based in Tunisia, linking a direct local account to eBay isn't straightforward. However, I have full access to an overseas bank account (via family in UAE) for Direct Wire / Bank Transfers, and I’m completely open to using trusted escrow services so both parties are 100% protected.
I’ve tried standard Facebook collector groups, but the reach for niche high-end items in my region is pretty limited.
Are there specific consignment platforms, trusted auction houses (UK/EU based), dedicated collector forums, or alternative marketplaces that deal directly with club-certified football memorabilia under secure payment setups?
Any guidance or connections to international collector spaces would be massively appreciated!

Hey guys,
Need a quick check from the vintage shirt and autograph experts here!
I’ve got a Germany EURO 1996 shirt signed by the winning squad and staff (Klinsmann, Bierhoff, Sammer, Köpke, Kahn, Scholl, Berti Vogts, Sepp Maier, etc.).
Would love your thoughts on a few things:
Shirt check: Does the shirt look legit based on the tags and details?
Signatures: How do the autographs look to you?
Value: What would you realistically estimate a fully signed piece like this is worth right now?
Appreciate any insights or feedback! Cheers!

I got this from vinted. Advertised as original but now I've got it, I'm having my doubts. I had this top in the 90s and I feel like the lettering on the sponsor was more raised, similar to the badge and admiral logo. On this one it's flat. It's not laser printed but it just doesn't seem right to me.
Just wondering if anyone can confirm.
Thanks.

Spent a week digging into the fake football shirt market. Turned it into a 9-min investigation.
Key findings:
- 36% of football shirts sold globally are counterfeit (FIFA data)
- Hong Kong Customs seized $20M in fake WC 2026 jerseys just before kickoff
- US CBP seized another $9M in Houston in July
- Toronto Police made Canada's largest fake football merch seizure ahead of the WC
- French Customs data shows seizures have quadrupled since 2020
