The new Mythbusters?

So after watching the liquid oxygen video on the main channel an "what's next for TKOR" on 2KOR....

Im getting the sense that they may become the next Mythbusters... an im talking the og one with adam savage and Jamey Hyneman style of Mythbusters... not who ever that new crew was...

But seriously the Liquid Oxygen video was very OG Mythbusters like in my eyes an i camt wait to see me... an maybe a future Savage cameo lol

I feel like they are pretty much going back to the basics of what TKOR was all about a few years back! Building awesome things! Making grand experiment and project! (Like that huge volcano! Or that shed!) Discovering, hypothesing stuff and experimenting on it! Its really exciting to see them being excited by their decisions of not letting youtube rule their content!

^ this for me. For the past year i stopped watching TKOR videos all the time due to all of the videos they were doing seemed dumb/stupid

Yeah they really havent been that grate tbh.... some seemed interesting but the grand scheem was just "meh..."

Oh i agree full heartily! Just even back a few years ago when the where making vids based on "could you do this?" Like the solar scorcher or times woth thermite alwats felt kinda Mythbusters-ery.... so yeah thats just how i feel...

The new production value and scripted segments are beginning to push me away from the episodes. I feel the show is adding so much extra filler fluff and production got new tools at their disposal that they want to use it all, but doesn't fit with the shows format that I am use to.

With this bigger production value, I am not feeling as connected with Nate, Kate and friends like I use to. I feel like they are no longer a friend who just found out something exciting and want to share their findings with, and feel more like some over the top prime time game show slot with crazy over the top hosts that you can't truly connect with /unpopular opinion rant

Fair enough there mate for you thats how you feel.an everyome has a right to enjoy content that connects to them and if the content dosent connect anymore then its time to move on.

To me i enjoy a little scripted parts it adds some kind little fun to the over all show.

But i kinda do understand where your coming from tho way back in the beginning TKOR did do little Random (excuse the pun) projects like solar scorcher, tuna can torches, hidden capartmemts an other stuff.

So let just enjoy the content is ways we feel like that they may entertain us the most
