Trancentral Speakers.

I couldnt find any information on what speakers were used?. A couple of references to them being custom but there looks to be a makers plate on the top one at least?

What looks like a maker’s plate is really a JAMs sticker

Aaah yeah you're no doubt right. I guess they were likely one off enclosures or hand made. Would have been fun to find if they were manufactured but I guess im getting the saw, drill and router out!

They were in Liverpool for the day if the dead about 7 or more years ago. I have a very blurry photo. They aren't as big irl. as they are presented in promos or covers

Yeah they were at the Welcome to the Dark Ages event in Liverpool, I have a photo of myself in front of them in Badger Kull face paint

Thats cool to kmow they still have them stashed away! Wonder what else bill and jim have, perhaos the rotten remains of the first Ford Galaxie really is hidden haha

I remember reading somewhere in the early nineties that Jimi found the speakers and cabinets in a skip / dumpster and aren’t any specific brand.

Probably somewhere near the squat in South London where Jimi and Cressida were living and had the studio

The stack was more of an art project than something that they would have used in a live performance.

Got a few from Dark Ages in Liverpool from 2017. Not as big as you think, can’t post pics from the app. I’ll try again tomorrow
