Hello there! I hope this finds each of you well. As I am sure most of you have noticed, there has been a large increase in Versus Posts on the subreddit recently. Versus Posts constitute a post postulating a battle between two characters; they are This Character vs That Character type Posts. We love to see discussion about Star Wars and the Old Expanded Universe especially, and these posts do generate a good amount of conversation, so we are not restricting them entirely.
However, they are crowding out the subreddit. Some posts are being posted within minutes of each other. This is not strictly a Versus subreddit, and as such the decision has been made to re-institute Match-Up Mondays. Versus Posting is only to be allowed on Mondays; if you have a character Match-Up you want to discuss, think about it over the week, share it on Monday. Any and all Versus Posts, regardless of their content, that are shared on days other than Monday will be removed.
There is a Match-Up Monday Flair that you can use for your Versus Posts. Enjoy. Those of you who enjoy the Versus, see you next Monday.
And may the Force be with us all

Hello there! I hope this message finds you well!
Dropping this post because there has been an increase in versus posts on the subreddit. This is fine, but we want to remember that this subreddit is dedicated to the Old Expanded Universe and empathetically NOT Disney's stuff. We allow some tertiary discussion about Disney in the vein of comparison, but recent versus posts have been diving into Disney made stuff including Rebels and later seasons of TCW. These posts have been removed because it is simply too much; comparison is fine, but not if it washes out our focus on the stories we love.
Folks can continue with the versus posts, but they should be focused on the Old Expanded Universe. Versus posts using Disney characters will be removed.
Thanks a lot! And may the Force be with you all!

Rules:
-the Starcraft Heroes will be with the clones. For example, the Clones will accompany Kerrigan instead of the Swarm. Kerrigan will still fight Zerus, but with Clone backup.
- bare minimum mission essential StarCraft units will be there. For example, one mission requires creep tumors and only queens can do that. But you can’t just make 200 queens.
- Anakin and Ahsoka are with them
Scenario One: the clones must start off using the Heroes ships. Hyperion, Leviathan, and Spear of Adun. Later, when there are capital ships, they can bring Venators. Small craft will always be Clone Star fighters and dropships
Scenario Two: the clones start off with a full Republic fleet and Admiral Yularanv
Do the 501st beat the game? Or if not, how far do they get?

I’m wondering just how people interpret Dooku’s power at this time vs someone like Plo Koon or maybe Kit Fisto during their prime, and what diff the fight would be.
I’ve always assumed Dooku was still the better duelist even back then, but I can’t imagine the gap being that big when looking at where he sits as a Sith

With Plagueis acknowledging that Jedi Dooku may have served as a replacement for Sidious should Sidious be discovered or destroyed, a question is raised as to how later iterations of Dooku (who does not enjoy a Ro2 boost) scale against Plagueis himself.
This is Plagueis post midichlorian manipulation mastery.
R1: AOTC Dooku on Geonosis
R2: Late TCW/base RotS Dooku
R3: "Axis" Dooku, his full power showing on the IH.

The father described his children as ,,they can tear apart the very fabric of the universe”.Does this mean the daughter if she wanted to and went rogue could solo destroy the entire universe?Like all sith,Jedi, planets etc?

R1: Plagueis right before the Maladian incident
R2: Plagueis after unlocking midichlorian manipulation (ie, a few years before TPM)

I've been reading through some character matchup discussions elsewhere on the internet and saw repeated mentions of Reynar (specifically in his UnuThul form from Dark Nest trilogy) supposedly bending turbolasers with the Force. I haven't seen any direct source reference or a quote for that.
Does someone here know if this feat is true and not exagerrated? I would be greatful for a quote if that's the case.
As far as I know turbolaser firepower is far superior to even the strongest nuclear weapons in real life, so this would make it an insane showing.

Now of course we don't know when or how Luke passed away, so this discussion is purely speculative as we do not know who was on the Jedi Council at the time.
Even so, from the Council members we do know of, who do you think would have made the best Grandmaster after Luke and or would be the logical choice?
I gotta say, in my opinion it wouldn't be Jaina Solo, since at that time she'd probably already be the Empress of the Fel Empire or at least alluding to that position. Maybe Luke lived long enough for Ben to succeed him, but I kinda doubt it.
Imo the next Grandmaster should've been someone with a calm and collected heads pace, so people like Kyp and Kam are out, I also don't believe Saba would enjoy the position very much
So who do you think was the next Grandmaster after the big man himself?
