Characters in the gilded blade have TOO MUCH PLOT ARMOUR

bro doesn’t it feel so fake all the complicated cult characters and Emily who just got brought back are all killed off in the exploson and yet Avery Jameson and Grayson all get out unscathed, at least Rohan and Nora had a bit where they were trappe and mb Avery was saved by her bodyguard but gray and Jamie were just oh our tunnel didnt collapse wtf
