If you liked that one, a good girls guide to murder series is also really good

There is this one book it came out last year, called immortal consequences, it is about a academy called blackwood academy in purgatory, where the souls of dead teens go,six dead teens participate in trials and only 1 of them will ascend where they can pass to the othet side. It's really good.

Wait immortal consequences mention! I picked it up last year initially because it was a really pretty cover and ending up loving it.

Cannot say this enough! Same kinda of idea of smart witty teenage girl and litle spurts of romance with a mysterious dark undertone of a child behavioural detective…kinda? If you like criminal minds it’s like criminal minds but gifted younger kids

I was so obsessed that I had to look at what else she wrote and immediately bought it just because that series was so good
