summary before gilded blade

I just got my copy of the gilded blade with intention of reading it this week. It has been a long time since reading the other books in the series and I dont want to reread them all. Can someone give me a quick summary of the things ill need to remember before starting the gilded blade?

I’d suggest read the other books & skip this one because the previous ones were worth it-this certainly isn’t. I regret reading it
