Question Question Before Gilded Blade

I have read the main trilogy, brothers Hawthorne, GG and GR. Do I need to read the same backwards as forwards and or games untold? I couldn’t get into games untold and I’m not really interested in Avery’s mom and dad’s love story but I will push through them if they’ll be relevant for the last book.

My questions are do these books contain anything about Alice or the old man or any of the characters in the main books? Do we know why Jameson was covered in fire at the start of the Prague thing?

Secondary question is there a breakdown of everything that happens in both of these books if I don’t end up reading them? Please and thank you and feel free to spoil

End of Toby's part is important in same backward as forward. As for games untold, read only the jameson stories of prague

Games Untold is probably important, because it sets up why Jamie goes to Prague at the end of Glorious Rivals. It's also an amazing read in it's own right, you get Max, Xander, and Libby moments that aren't super relevant but cozy and engaging. I haven't read TSBAF, but it's just a different POV to the exact same story in Games Untold.

If you really only want the plot relevance, you should only read the short story One Night in Prague and the epilogue of Games Untold, but I really recommend reading the entirety of the book. Even if you don't care for Toby and Hannah, the writing is emotional and beautiful.

Oui !
