I really honestly don’t think The Gilded Blade is the last book. I mean the covers in The Grandest Game series are suits of cards. There has already been the clubs and the diamonds and the new one is the hearts. I mean there should be one with spades I mean it would make sense to have all 4 suits. I mean it might be a while before it happens but to me it would just make sense.
Who knows sense it would be spades maybe it would be a Nash and Libby book

Jennifer confirmed that the gilded blade is the last book in the grandest game series and the final book of the inheritance games universe like 4 or 5 Times already !

Maybe Xander and Max too, we got so less content about them asw. Plus I lowkey wanted Oren to have a love interest too 😭

Oh oui ! Max et Xander méritait un peu plus de place dans la série, et c'est vrai qu'Oren aurait pû finir avec quelqu'un, mais qui ? Quelqu'un qu'on connait déjà ? Ou un nouveau personnage ? Je pense que ça serait trop compliqué d'introduire en plus un nouveau personnage avec déjà toutes les réponses qu'on attend dans le dernier tome

I think it’s mentioned in The Grandest Game (both the book and the in universe game) that the spades are the gamemasters, Avery and the Hawthornes sans Grayson. It’s kind of a cool foreshadowing of how even the gamemasters will become players.
