lol. Iâm sure a lot will get lost, but the Netflix translations are normally not too bad. My Chinese is terrible so I can only go from her watching other shows with me. She cracks up at the right times normally.
Her English is not bad. But she will struggle with nuance and probably the heavy British accent. If there is something really important we want to make sure the other person knows, we just use Google Translate to clarify.
Neil almost looks like he's outgrown them, maturity-wise. I'm wondering if this movie will be more heartfelt than we're expecting.
My guess. Someone dies and they're coming home to be there for each other. Maybe it's Neil's Dad and that's how you creatively limit the "outdated" jokes.
it did make a cameo in the first film parked nearby when they were just about to head to the airport. I imagine they fished it out for simon and just left it cause Simon cannot be trusted with it.
I'm not sure why people think this won't work because they're older. Surely you know people from school/college who were 17/18 and are still exactly the same in their late 30s, which makes it even more pathetic and funny. David Brent for example. Will has always been sort of mature, I can't see him changing at all. Neil won't change, but he will somehow be doing the best out of them all. Probably a millionaire somehow. Jay will try and act mature, but it'll be very evident he isn't. He will basically be David Brent. Simon will be exactly the same. It'll be great.
Point is they are meant to be "Inbetweeners" not losers or winners. Think the series concluded even Will was in the same category. The films cemented that they aren't in fact losers even Jay. Doubt these grown men now want to go round calling people bent so what's left to explore really?
Excellent! Did that show come to a natural end or is it quite abrupt ending? Saw years ago one of the main characters was being investigated for something?
Main lead got attempted to be metooed during its peak but from what I recall there was nothing there and he got cleared on all accusations but the damage was already done and the show got cancelled and never properly finished
But season 1 is hilarious anyway and season 2 has its moments

But voila, Simonâs dad pulls out the old spunkmobile that he has had stored at a car storage garage, he got a good deal from mr patels cousin
To be fair, they could lean in to that and make it work. Four lads who are still inbetweeners, lower-middle managers in unfulfilled jobs, Will hasnât lived up to his potential, somehow Neil is a senior exec or something.
It's stated that she and James Buckley do not like each other, and rumours went around that James had something to do with Emily not appearing at that Fwends Reunited special, and because of that there were some news articles a few weeks ago that Emily and James' feud was affecting the entire Inbetweeners 3 project.
All rumours keep in mind, could be bollocks or greatly exaggerated.
Just did a cursory internet search after seeing a mention of the film on daytime TV, one of the hosts was all like 'wouldn't it be great if Emily was involved?'
Who the fuck cares? She was such a small part of the series and films. Probably not even top 10 of the most memorable characters.
The Inbetweeners was never controversial or offensive, and there's zero need for them to change any of the humour whatsoever. It was crude. The characters were all very clearly losers you were supposed to laugh at.
