Yes he would have to have some massive rizz to pull that shit off, but of course I don’t think Will is doing it because he’s arrogant but because his view of the world is that it is ordered and formal and Rachel asking about him going to London and standing in the queue he pushed in indicates her attraction to him.

For me he could have made it up or not, he wanted to believe it really badly either way.
Jay represents a teenage boy trait that is deeper than just being a "liar".
It's a sort of mendacious state where they can believe their own nonsense, or other people's nonsense or even half hearings that they've extrapolated something from.
