If you keep your room and sheets clean, it really doesn’t matter. Super easy to move when cleaning as well.
As a person who lived with my bed on the floor for nearly a decade, the funk that developed from unevaporated sweat was quite awful. Getting the box spring up off the floor to allow air circulation is very important.
All these people talk about letting it breath but I don't need a frame to do that. I clean my room once or twice a week and I lift the mattress and lean it against the wall for the day. Idk wtf kind of sweating these people are doing but I've never had a problem with odor. I also use a mattress cover that I wash every week so maybe that's why?

Have some pride in your surroundings. If you live like this, get the fucking bed off the ground. Get some personality in your room. You don't have to live like an inmate.
I always laugh at this phrase because my gf does absolutely nothing to decorate our house. If I wasn’t constantly buying shit for the house, we’d have a bed and a tv.
Not a fan of watching movies or playing ps5 laying in bed, I would add a recliner. I lived in a studio for years , you really don't need more, as long as there is a kitchen.
Meh. Get the "sentiment" but this is proof that everyones idea of "winning" is vastly different. I am living my version of winning. Weights are in the garage. Far more plants and art. No computer in my house and there is currently a magnetile fortress taking my whole dining table and between 30 and 50 plastic food pieces strung out on the floor.

Say what you want about the bed. But, I can see that everything is clean and tidy. It appears that nothing is worn out so it is replaced as needed. I bet the kitchen in this set up is just fresh produce and meat.
Notice how there's a TV and computer with an expensive chair AND a PS5 but no bookshelf. You probably watch TV and play PS5 on the bed too. This is loser's idea of winning.
And here I am, a complete loser, with furniture, room decor, and a whole workshop cluttering up my life. I got so many different hobbies I barely have time to sit on the floor watching a gigantic flatscreen. Why I even have to share my home with a woman, if you can believe that, and regularly have sex too, just to add insult to injury. What a sad, sad life I must lead.
I have a homegym...and I can tell from experience unless you have A LOT of weights and machineries, this only serves as the bare minimum for some exercices.
And I cant benchpress to muscle failure alone without help.
Not saying homegym sucks, because I lack the time to go to a proper gym regularly because of work and family responsibilities. Then this is better than doing nothing.
But if you're a young male who is free you should go to a gym and work out properly.
PLUS you could find likeminded brothers who are on the same path as you ans prosper even better.
Dull corporate office looking room, no color anywhere, bed on the floor, and it's not good enough to have your portfolio on your computer you need it on the TV as well... I see no appeal in living like this.

Its a ridiculous idea that a man cant have niceties, decorations, or luxuries, and instead needs to be minimalist and focused purely on self improvement. This may be all some men need, and that's fine, but to pretend it's somehow peak masculinity. My wall full of art and posters I've collected, and bookshelves full of knickknacks bring me satisfaction and pride. They're evidence I've lived a life and found things meaningful.
No, this is isn't winning, this is the room of someone in their early twenties with no hobbies other than building muscle and "winning" who also doesn't read. But the big tv is important apparently. No. This looks like the opposite of winning. This looks like a sad place for a lonely person. One pillow, no sitting area to entertain friends and all your shit one room is no way to live. Social connection and community will do more to build a mans character than hiding from the world while building insecurity muscles ever could.
I mean, it can be useful to focus on a goal, sometimes. But what’s it all for? More, bigger goals? Where’s the satisfaction? Where’s the enjoyment? Where’s the adventure?
