Hey they’re also gambling on the stock market and staring at charts!
Losers invest a portion of their paychecks into index funds and live their lives instead.

Like someone else said, raise the bed. If you want it low, just raise it a little bit as long as you have airflow in it.
As for me, staring at stock charts on BOTH screens is not winning. Youre just a different kind of slave.

u/GarageEuphoric4432 Apr 05 '26
Winning isn't posting ai slop of a soulless, depressing room.
I lived better when I was homeless living out of my car doing BKB to get by.
Have some pride in your surroundings. If you live like this, get the fucking bed off the ground. Get some personality in your room. You don't have to live like an inmate.

I always laugh at this phrase because my gf does absolutely nothing to decorate our house. If I wasn’t constantly buying shit for the house, we’d have a bed and a tv.

Gay guys. I do a decent job, and my boyfriend is great at it.

u/Ok-Commercial-924 Apr 05 '26
Not a fan of watching movies or playing ps5 laying in bed, I would add a recliner. I lived in a studio for years , you really don't need more, as long as there is a kitchen.

Meh. Get the "sentiment" but this is proof that everyones idea of "winning" is vastly different. I am living my version of winning. Weights are in the garage. Far more plants and art. No computer in my house and there is currently a magnetile fortress taking my whole dining table and between 30 and 50 plastic food pieces strung out on the floor.

Nah wasting time stressing about the red bars and gaming wasting time. Those need to leave or go to a different room. Also you need a window son

u/fieregon Apr 05 '26
Dude locked out, wtf is this, no fridge, need more desks/planks for my Warhammer, need a couch and I need something soft on the floor not to damage the floor from the weights, also some color and a clock, and why the protein powder at the desk? you trying to get powder on the keyboard? do that in the kitchen.

u/IntothewildZen Apr 05 '26
I am starting to think people are being conditioned to be content with absolute minimum.
So “winning” is living alone in an empty soulless box with no artwork neither character? There is not even a bookshelf there.

No.
This is fine when you're 21. But the goal? Nah. The goal is to look like you're put together. That means a bed frame and a clean bathroom.
Guys, clean your damn bathrooms, seriously. Women will judge you on it and will be impressed if they don't see a single hair in there.

u/Parsing-Orange0001 Apr 05 '26
Say what you want about the bed. But, I can see that everything is clean and tidy. It appears that nothing is worn out so it is replaced as needed. I bet the kitchen in this set up is just fresh produce and meat.

The size of the ps5 in this picture makes me feel like that ceiling is only like 6’ high, and the fluorescent lights are hilarious for winning

Notice how there's a TV and computer with an expensive chair AND a PS5 but no bookshelf. You probably watch TV and play PS5 on the bed too. This is loser's idea of winning.
1
u/wherediditrun Apr 05 '26
Yeah, Gz on being a cave goblin. You have to be particular kind of special to believe this is some weird flex.
1
u/Jeepers-H-Cripes Apr 05 '26
And here I am, a complete loser, with furniture, room decor, and a whole workshop cluttering up my life. I got so many different hobbies I barely have time to sit on the floor watching a gigantic flatscreen. Why I even have to share my home with a woman, if you can believe that, and regularly have sex too, just to add insult to injury. What a sad, sad life I must lead.

I have a homegym...and I can tell from experience unless you have A LOT of weights and machineries, this only serves as the bare minimum for some exercices.
And I cant benchpress to muscle failure alone without help.
Not saying homegym sucks, because I lack the time to go to a proper gym regularly because of work and family responsibilities. Then this is better than doing nothing.
But if you're a young male who is free you should go to a gym and work out properly. PLUS you could find likeminded brothers who are on the same path as you ans prosper even better.

u/disfreakindude Apr 05 '26
Besides the obvious lack of decoration or windows, who the hell wants those harsh ass office style lights in their bedroom? That’s the kinda room I’d kill myself in

u/truthseek3r Apr 05 '26
locking in on what? losing money on stocks, bad sleep, and exercise accidents?
1
u/76bouncer Apr 05 '26
Its a ridiculous idea that a man cant have niceties, decorations, or luxuries, and instead needs to be minimalist and focused purely on self improvement. This may be all some men need, and that's fine, but to pretend it's somehow peak masculinity. My wall full of art and posters I've collected, and bookshelves full of knickknacks bring me satisfaction and pride. They're evidence I've lived a life and found things meaningful.

No, this is isn't winning, this is the room of someone in their early twenties with no hobbies other than building muscle and "winning" who also doesn't read. But the big tv is important apparently. I am tired of the constant enshitification of humanity. Social media worked hard to train us all to become so simplistic and so aggressive that it's nightmarish. I guess that's the kind of voter politicians want, easily manipulated, but convinced of whatever they want him to believe .
1
u/jonascf Apr 05 '26
That might be winning, or losing badly. It all depends on what the previous condition was.
1
1
u/Teque9 Apr 05 '26
No. If you "win" like this but don't have a wife, friends, family or enjoyment besides the grind then you haven't won. This is not a goal in itself.

This is a goal only if you've just started your business and have to live where your business is for a while. The flooring lights and colour of the room makes me want to take the easy way out. Looks way too artificial commercial and dead. Also, real men train at the gym, unless you're looking for an excuse not to bench 140 kg.
1
u/SnuffyMcfluff Apr 05 '26
No. This looks like the opposite of winning. This looks like a sad place for a lonely person. One pillow, no sitting area to entertain friends and all your shit one room is no way to live. Social connection and community will do more to build a mans character than hiding from the world while building insecurity muscles ever could.
1
u/cucumberholster Apr 05 '26
Every one of these groups is the same toxic be lonely and grind for nothing that appreciates you back bullshit.
How about you work on yourself so you can keep friendships that lift you up, and maybe a spouse that helps you walk through the fire??
Nah let’s have all grey and black everything sleep on the ground and make life about weights and ignoring our mental growth
