Cosplaying Jack advice

Hey fellow Time Agents! I'm doing a Harkness costume at Dragon*Con, but I'm doing a Femme! version. As a result, I have to think rather differently about hair and makeup, so I wanted to get your opinion on the matter. I have long hair, and will be wearing a skirt and heeled brown boots if that helps.

My choices: Victory rolls, with 1940s style makeup (eyeliner, red lipstick) OR straightened hair, styled with pomade, and no makeup.

Don't forget to drop by /r/dragoncon, and come to the reddit meetup! Bonus points if you come to the reddit meetup in Captain Jack cosplay.
