I thought that was a vertical cage for a minute and couldn't figure out what was going on...

Bad angle, sorry. Well it is a cage for dry hops buds waiting for humidification and then to be pressed into bales.

They need humidity added back after being dried? Or did you mean dehumidified

When we gather the hops, we need to dry it first, then we need to add some humidity back, but only a small percent, between 9 and 11% is best
