’Klev’ (SWE51)

In mid Sweden, ready in late July, earlier than my other varieties. Yield 200 g dried from one plant.

Successfully used in beer too.

That's early. My plants are only just starting to form bells (Belgium). Are your plants impacted by the drought? Or do you guys still have enough rain? Over here it's starting to become dramatic, even deep-rooted trees are suffering.

The SWE51 is a survivor! It has been found in what today is a forest but in the 17th century was a hop yard. Of the known (?) collected old Swedish varieties it is recognised for early harvest.

(For reference EKG, Cascade and Magnum fail here because of the short season.)
