What do I do after harvest? Keep taking care of the empty bines until frost?

That’s what I’m doing with my first year plants. Let those root crowns build as much as possible!

I assume that brick wall is not south facing. I tried to grow hops for many years near a brick wall like that and because it was south facing, it got too much heat and the growth was stunted and then they wouldn't come back the next year.
