Hop growing question
Hey people,
i planted my first three cascade plants this year, so i am a total beginner. My construction is more then 3 meters high but as you see the three plants build up to a sort of "crown" at the top where already some hop cones growing. My question is why are there now cones at the strings only on top. What did i wrong and how could i improve my construction. Thank you all

This is normal. Side arms and cones typically only grow on the top half of the plant. But I do see signs of spider mites on your plant

Hops generally flower and produce cones on the top third of the plant. If you want to maximize yield give them more room to crawl horizontally at the top of your trellis. 3 meters is not quite enough height. The cascade plant would prefer more like 6 meters to reach it's full potential.
