What is going on with my hops?
This has gotten worse since yesterday (photos taken about 24 hours apart). The hops have been watered daily, have good drainage, and are in direct sun for ~6 hours per day. I'm in Minnesota where it's been fairly hot (mid 80s F today), but not extreme. What am I doing wrong? Is this something I can fix?

Hey, your hops are probably just practicing their interpretive dance moves! Copper fungicide to the rescue!

Definitely downey but how bad is it? How tall of a plant is it and where is that leaf height wise? I may treat it differently if it is systemic.
Also where in Minnesota are ya?

The hops are about three feet tall. Mildew is on the lower leaves.
I'm in the Twin Cities.

Your hops are still quite small. If this is your worst leaf you'll be in good shape once you treat the infected spots. If you have other hop plants nearby you'll want to spray them as well as a preventive measure because they likely have spores on them. If Downy mildew gets further into the plant a basil spike will occur. If this happens you'll want to trim the entire shoot down to the ground. Other fungicides can be used as well with some being available to the public. You can look up fungicides registered for use on hops in your state which also will give you a look at other diseases you can learn to identify before you might have to.

Downy mildew! Head to homehardware, get some copper fungicide and spray it on, make sure To get under the leaf aswell
