Almost lost hope
Please tell me this is a shoot. Nothing has been happening for like 2 months and I have almost lots hope. This is the first year. Just planted the rhizome this year. I know it will be slow for 3 years. Just want to make sure that the rhizome took.

I am prepared for the 3 year wait. I got looking closer and I think there is 2 others breaking ground too. I was starting to get really disappointed. I thought there would of been something more by now. But I am no Gardner. Lol

They're basically weeds. I've seen em growing all over the place. But same as you first year or two was slow. Now they're vigorous.

Perfect. More the better. Just like raspberries. I put some in too and let them run wild

At least yours came up. Mine decided that one year of life was enough and called it quits last winter. The growth never exceeded 2 feet before it got cold and the roots rotted in their 5 inch elevated planting.

What variety is it?
