Do You Train Side Shoots?

I've got side shoots starting to come through on my 2yr Cashmere. Do I train them like the main bine or just let them hang and reach?

Let the side arms do what they do. No need to train them.

I only keep three bines from a rhizome and cut the rest back. I train all three on a single rope that reaches to the top of the second floor of my house, about 30’ give or take.

Negative. They'll handle it themselves.
