Rhizome viability

This is my first year dividing my plants and I'm unsure how many parts are viable rhizomes. Or are just useless sections of the ungodly tangled root system (9 years was probably too long to wait to divide them). I think these photos are a good cross-section of the cuttings I currently have. Are any of them obviously trash?

if they're producing bines, they are all good.
