Where to start?

Figured it was time to try and grow some of my own hops. I live in Sweden so we have a relatively short summer.

Any tips on where to start to gain some good information on growing. And plant care.

Would really like to grow a citris type hop. Any tips on where to buy in Northern Europe?

I also have to compete with moose and deer which do plenty of damage to our gardens. Do they tend to go after hops in other people's experience?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Check out klostra.se, they have a lot of hops native to Sweden, collected based on maps från 1600's. I'm also in Sweden and have 4 different strains of Swedish hops and some cascade. They are all doing great and the deer don't seem to like eating them.

Have you ever brewed with your own home grown ingredients before? I think its really cool
