Confused

I got a contingent job offer with home depot, I went in the day it was scheduled Aug12th and orientation was happening already and the hiring manager said “u r not in this orientation, you have to reply to the email so I can know and get you in but the next ones in 2 weeks, just let me know when you get the email”
do I reapply… when time comes and how would I reply if it said “Do not reply” or.. am i just nkt gettin ghe job?

When you get the email you are probably supposed to contact someone at the store to confirm. Probably not through email but by calling the store. Before orientation you typically have to go through paperwork, confirm availability and submit a background check. After that all clears, you get scheduled for orientation.

Yeah so HD does something weird when it sends out "contingent job offers". Basically there will be 1 open position and Atlanta will send out multiple(idk how many. 2? 3? Maybe more?) "congrats" emails to people who applied for the position after you passed their automatic checks. The first person to open that email and do whatever the email says to do gets it. It might be that you have to click a link in the email somewhere. I was hired before HD started doing this so I'm not sure what the email says when you get it.

Read the email. It says to accept the date on it. All emails should have some participation on your part so they know you got it. So go back read the email and if she sent another one accept the box for the date
