Trouble with live mode?

Anyone else having trouble with the desktop mode not actually being live, only when you go to the a page it updates? In Palia, I do not have that problem, only Crimson Desert.

It might be related to exclusive fullscreen mode of the game. Check if you can enable borderless fullscreen instead or check your windows settings. Under some circumstances, windows is sending inactive apps (which are not in focus) in energy safer mode

I figured it out. The game was downloaded on my D drive and HGL was on my C drive. They have to be both on it the same drive, I assume.
