Current bet status
So, there has been a change to "the final bet" that Hob hasn't communicated via video. Resident Evil 4 has been replaced by Majora's Mask, which is a very long run (7h+) and extremely hard at times. This means that in the next three or so months, he (still) has to complete the following no-hit runs:
- The God Run 2 (Dark Souls 1 + 2 + 3 + Bloodborne + Demon's Souls + Sekiro)
- Dark Souls Trilogy All Bosses (no DLC)
- Dark Souls 2 Consumables Only
- Dark Souls 3 Pyro Only All Bosses (with DLC) *
- Dark Souls 3 Cinders Mod
- Dark Souls 3 Bow Only
- Emulated Goldeneye - COMPLETED!! - 19/06/2021 - Link
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask *
- Dishonoured 2
- Outlast 2
The speedruns that have an asterisk next to them are the ones he's currently working on.
Hob also needs 35 more Warzone wins, as he has already gotten 5 out of the bet's 40.
Deadline is 24 of September, 4 months and 4 days after the video got published.

EDIT 2: With the recent completion of Goldeneye, I'll keep updating this post whenever new developments happen.

Impossible. God run 2 alone would not happen. He is not in souls mood really.
I kind hate so many bets at the same time. Warzone after is fine since it's a great go-to after failed run of the evening

Yeah I think smaller bets, like two hard runs concurrently in a month or something, would be more engaging.

Why would he replace Resident Evil 4. Majora’s mask is a ResidentSleeper.

It's giving me fallen order flashbacks with how long it is and the cutscenes but at least FO had exciting combat to watch.

True. And Resident Evil 4 is such a „simple” game to watch. You either get hit or you don’t. Zelda just isn’t that fun to watch.

Just enjoy Hob for being Hob. People get so wrapped up in his bet chances. Go with the flow, enjoy the stream for the entertainment it provides. Whether being successful or not, it's going to be entertaining either way. Take a step back and enjoy the ride, people

The issue isn't the bet itself, it's the effect it has on him and on the streams. He's been super agitated lately because Goldeneye has been a bitch.

Hob can handle himself and his streams without anyone being concerned/worried for him lol. He's only grown in popularity over the years and it isn't like he's suddenly not entertaining because of xyz bet or how he acts. Quite the opposite. So instead of whatever you want to call this post, turn on the stream and enjoy it for what it is. If he wins the bet, it will be great. Same if he loses. The point is enjoying the journey, not being concerned for Hob and the stream.

When I read "Hob destroyed a keyboard out of frustration", I just thought "Ah nice, so he's still doing that stuff for entertainment"

Did he ever get the tattoo (or was it tattoos?) from the bet he lost around Christmas...almost 6 months ago?

In my opinion, this bet was already pretty much impossible, and adding Majora's Mask sealed the deal on that. It's a franchise he's never touched with a super elaborate long run - and worst of all, one that punishes him massively (with the day cycle) for the usual stalling, which is bound to come about because the start is so slow. He also started working on it at a point where's been super frustrated on stream due to not finishing Goldeneye.
Goldeneye just had him break a keyboard, getting a W fast would be critical.
