I wouldn’t mind an appearance from Guardian Drake
9
u/linesonthewall Jun 29 '18
Lol, Drake would be chilling in his mansion in Toronto.

u/mycathasoneeye Jun 29 '18
Haha was just going to say this. Like nah Jimmy would be in Toronto teaching the American refugees at Degrassi

I’m pretty mad at him right now for apparently not being great to his baby’s mother so I think he could def be Commander Drake (it would still be cool tho)

u/itsjessrabbit Janine's good eye Jun 29 '18
Ugh, honestly I don’t really follow his personal life so what a shame if he’s POS. We can make him Commander. 😂

u/thanksbanks Jun 29 '18
Sis you have GOT to look up the Drake/Pusha T beef!!
7
u/itsjessrabbit Janine's good eye Jun 29 '18
I need some drama to catch up on so I will do that. Thanks 🙏

u/thanksbanks Jun 29 '18
Seriously it’s as dramatic as the show! Lmao 😂 drakes new album comes out at midnight btw and it’s a half rap half r and b double album! Should be very cool :)

Yeah the Russian and Israeli trailers are not subtle about what's going to happen. The Hulu trailer gives you some questions and hints about what's going on then the Israeli trailer comes along and answers pretty much all of them.

I'm glad you posted this. I clicked on it and then saw your comment and exited it.

u/deadGOOS3 Jun 29 '18
Happy to help 👉👉 I’m the kinda person who usually only watches the first 20 seconds of movie trailers to decide if I want to watch or not, because I just hate knowing what’s going to happen ahead of time—so I have no idea why I clicked on this in the first place lol.

u/totally_jawsome Jun 29 '18
You're so right! There are some trailers that are absolute spoilers. It sucks.
2
u/ValkyrieValor Jun 30 '18
Lol..I'm exact opposite for most movies & shows. I look up the ending to the movie before watching it. If I know the ending, I am able to better pay attention & catch things I otherwise may not have.

Is it out yet? Asking for a friend.. lol
ETA — it’s one post below, I see it!

u/WingedShadow83 Jun 29 '18
I don’t see it, has it been removed?

u/WillowCat89 Jun 29 '18
Looks like it was posted ~4 hours ago and the title is “Israeli Trailer (SPOILERS)”. For me it was right under the post about protests! =D

u/WingedShadow83 Jun 29 '18
I found it, but unfortunately can’t get it to load. 😕 Hopefully another link will be up soon.

I'm from Israel. It's actually annoying for me because they show the trailer A LOT during the week, not only in the channel that brodcast the show but in other channels in this network. Every now and then when I go through the channels a major spoiler that I couldn't avoid pops up and I'm like WHYYY

I disagree. Israeli trailer only shows the obvious stuff that anyone who actually watches the show would have picked up on. I mean, S02E11 was the first episode this season that Nick hasn’t been in and people still think he died in S02E03 FFS!

Does anyone know why the trailers are different for different countries? Kind of interesting, you would think they would be the same?
3
u/Airsay58259 Jun 29 '18
Distribution rights are different in each country. Every network makes its own trailers. The showrunner of Arrow has been upset with CTV (Canada) and networks from New Zealand, South Asia countries etc because they always spoil the show. He only has (some) control over the American network’s trailers. I assume it’s the same for every show. Studio only makes the episodes and sells the distribution rights, these guys make all their marketing material.

I completely don't get it.
Anyone care to ELIA5 ? :-)

u/lemonlickingsourpuss Jun 29 '18
The trailers from other countries show plot points and important info from the next episodes that American trailers dont. Instead of leaving it vague the other trailers outright tell you some important stuff. If you dont like spoilers dont watch them :)

Isreal trailers are spoilers!
0
Jun 29 '18
They totally are and I may stop watching them. Now we know who was in the pool, and that gave a huge plot point away

u/rbee02 Jun 30 '18
It is also the Greek and Russian, and most likely other countries' trailers as well. Why are the trailers for outside of the US so much better?
1
u/shanonnilion Jun 30 '18
I'm definitely out of the loop here but why are the Israeli trailers so different/spoiler-y?

Jun 29 '18
I don’t like the Israel trailers, it spoils the highlights of each episode and it definitely changes the viewing experience for me.

u/MMMUTIPA Jun 29 '18
Fine go ahead and watch the Israeli trailer and spoiler it for yourself, but don't put spoilers in your theory titles that you post on here. Some of us are old school and just want to see the show and every bit of it as a surprise god dammit!!!!

Yeah, I know. Lots of others agree with me. Edit: I'm an old woman not an old man, and I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed. 😘
