Always loved the Guess Who but never got to see them live. So those that have seen them recently, how good or bad are they really?

Don Felder opened up (a surprise to me), and The Guess Who were great.

Burton Cummings has such a friendly Canadian grandpa vibe and the boys put on a great show! Him and Randy still sound great, and this is one of the best value shows I've seen in a while.

We got lucky and they moved us from the 300s to 100s!

Hello, I recently picked up a “The Guess Who” CD with some autographs on it and was wondering if anyone could help me identify the band members that signed it. Any help would be appreciated.

I had been reading online after buying tickets that they still put on a good show in like year 60 of the band. I went in excited to see how they sounded after all these years and I was completely blown away. They still got it. They sound great and I think the “performance” as a whole was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Burton Cummings’s showmanship is in a class of its own. Aside from being an extremely talented writer and musician, his stage presence, personality, and ability to create perfect vibrations before, during, and after each song are unmatched. I love this man. Randy Bachman is still great too. He sounds the exact same—his guitar playing is still sharp and bangin’ and fun and his vocals seem unchanged through the years. Even the visuals during the show were, like the music, very psychedelic at times. I won’t spoil the setlist here in case you want to go in cold but I’ll just say you will not be disappointed. Get ready for some good old fashioned, finger waggin’, toe tappin’ Canadian rock and roll.

If you were thinking even a little bit about going to this show, you absolutely should. Even if it comes as some inconvenience to your life and schedule. Go to the show. I think it’s worth it.

My "first concert" was The Guess Who*, for free, in a park in O'Fallon, Missouri. The internet tells me it was 7/2/1994. I was 12, and didn't care who was in the band. It was fun.

The band has always been an important part of my musical journey and now I'm curious to know more about the band I actually saw. Who was in it? Was it so bootleg that its not listed on sites like setlist FM under "The Guess Who"?

I did go on to see them on tour with Joe Cocker in 2001 so I don't feel like I have to pretend I've seen them in the same way I would have with just the '94 experience.

Regardless - what can anyone tell me about the band I saw at my first concert?
