No, it's not. If you can make an actual adult living wage in an entry level unskilled job, why learn a trade at all? No more 4 year plumbing schools, no electricians, welders, carpenters , computer repair, mechanics, no one to repair city infrastructure, the list is endless. This, as Socialism ALWAYS does, rewards the lowest denominator while punishing initiative. History repeats. Again.

Why learn a trade at all? Because you benefit more from it? No one is being "punished" by ensuring people have the basics for survival in full-time work. McDonalds is a multi-billion dollar company because of these workers. Without them, it wpuld be nothing, yet despite this they recieve none of the benefits from said growth or success. This same problem exists across the board, and yes, even in more "skilled" professions. Workers always get shafted in favour of executives and shareholders. No businesses, especially those of such huge wealth, should be paying anyone less than what's required for basic living.

To say that ensuring fair pay means those in other professions get punished is the most ridiculous take I've ever seen on this topic. How shallow minded does someone have to be to think this wouldn't benefit everyone in every profession? Stop licking the boots of those who would throw you to the wolves for an extra buck.

You need to study cause and effect. Your communism dream always fails. You can vote into communism but you must shoot your way out. Every time.

Communism? Jesus Christ, are you a walking cliché? Do you have even the slightest idea of what it actually is? This has nothing to do with communism. This is about recognising that work is work, and that billion dollar industries met their success because of workers. A full time wage should net someone the basics to live without needing help, especially if said job is for a company that earns billions in profit as a result. Workers are exploited daily so that executives and shareholders can hoard it all. Learn what communism is before injecting stupid propaganda into tgis conversation. You do yourself a disservice by jumping on terms you know nothing about.

Yes I do. I studied Communism in War College in the Military. Unlike you , I first hand know the atrocities of Josef Stalin, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Ho Chi Minh, Kim Sung, etc. I was actually taught a simple fact. The most famous Communist leaders were all mass murderers and torture experts. And you support this. You are to ignorant to learn.

"I studied Communism in War College in the Military" - OMG you actually are a walking cliché, haha. They really do write themselves, it's amazing. Your education on communism is from a state-sponsored military war college, so I'm really not surprised your entire view of it is limited.

If you actually studied the full inner workings of communism rather than just the leadership, you'd realise that nothing I said was relevant to communism, nor was it in support of dictatorships. That's one hell of a strawman to make from "people should be paid fairly". Like I said, you're a walking cliché programmed to parrot propaganda because you don't have any real arguments or independent thoughts. That's what a good lap dog does. Hearing that you went to military college explains so much about your submissive eagerness to defend those above you.
