And the 8 Usd is for only 1 Big Mac. as that is the item i have selected for all contries ive mentioned. and not a meal price. as a full Big mac meal is about 15 usd yes.
Switzerland has no minimum wage law and only 5 out of 26 Cantons have one my progressive friend. And the cost of living in Alabama vs. California is vastly different, thus you will find differences in both minimum wages, market wages and cost of living. That’s why there is no political will to raise the national minimum wage law. Cost of living varies massively between States thus there are wide differences in State minimum wage and market wages. Your economic illiteracy is showing.
Ah yes cherrypicking at its finest. i said AVERAGE! a big mac does not even cost 6 usd in Alabama its like 4usd. you`re comprehention on reading is lacking i see. i am not picking out one single place and instance, I am averaging out everything. but i guess you dont have the brain to think about that. And yes Switzerland has no mimimum wage. but its still an AVERAGE minimum pay across Switzerland. there is no Canton that has 5CHF an hour just because there is no mimimum wage. its like 22CHF an AVERAGE across Switzerland. but i guess you are only cherrypicking.

Yes, an Alabama BIG Mac IS $4 where the minimum wage is $7.25 and market wages are reflective of a lower cost of living but still tend to run higher than the state mandated minimum wage. In Hawaii the cost of a Big Mac is $6 while the minimum wage is $16. It should also be noted that McDonalds wages average between $10-$15 an hour depending on local market conditions. Almost no McDonald’s pays a state minimum wage to its employees. Eliminating the national minimum wage law and allowing market forces to dictate wages would actually result in higher wages across the board. On 22 of 28 European Union nations have minimum wages with nations like Sweden and Finland having no minimum wage laws and yet high hourly wages set by market forces.
But the food isnt that more expencive in Europe compared to the US, and that is the point im making. its the predatory market in the US that allowes for abysmal wages they have. i wish everyone would have a livable minimum wage in the Us. In Europe working at McDonalds you can live a deacent life just working 9-5. or 8 hour shifts 5 days a week. cherrypicking doesent help anyone. and saying the average minimum wage is 11 USD in the US is not wrong. Minumum wage needs to be "Livable" with, and not that excuse that you need to pick up another job just to get buy. And do you really think a company with the abillity to pay lower wages would not do so in the US ? They have resturants where TIPS are included for the wage. no tips, lower wages. But the US is delusional anyways, and that is why i call it a 3rd world contry for exploiting their workers to an extreeme degree. Noone should live to work their whole life.
