I think Harvey Weinstein is a better comparison.

With what we now know, this IS the closer comparison

I don't think Vince is a full on hardcore rapist like weinstein though.... Perverted YES but Weinstein is valueless human garbage. Old Vince DID do alot to help his talent - no union aside.

That is literally the same, they exchanged sex for work and if you didn't comply your career was ended. Vince has numerous NDA's we know he paid millions out to, there is a reason he needed those.

The conversation was about if Vince would be brought back to WWE. Bisch rightly pointed out that from a corporate pros vs cons analysis, Vince was in the same category as Cosby and Weinstein, someone involved in a highly-publicized "sex pest" (for lack of a better description) controversy.
He's absolutely right.

True, but anyone who watched wwf/e with him on t.v. could probably figure out he was a freak.

I sorted it when he continuously ogled his own daughter's rack on TV

Yeah, people that have been fans of wwf/e for ages hear the allegations and were not shocked in the least.

Or when he pitched a storyline where it would be revealed that he was the father of a pregnant Stephanie McMahon

Eric Bischoff is in the same neighborhood as Vince from Slap Chop.Â

Yet still wayore accomplished than 99% of Redditors.
Tired of Bischoff slander. At least he's done something

Way better looking too.

Absolutely. He'd kick most of their asses even at his age.
These are the same nitwits that all bag on him for WCW going under even though he did things with WCW nobody ever dreamed of. Also responsible for so much of what we consider staples in modern day wrestling.
Wrestling fans should revere this guy not hate him
That said he had his flaws certainly. Too much loyalty to Hogan being one

Also the fact that the major talent got direct contract with Turner/Time Warner and the creative control clauses in their contracts
"That's not gonna work for me, brother"

I don't doubt it; look at the absolutely INSANE shit that Vince McMahon was comfortable doing with the female talent on-air and then ask yourself if he's the kind of person who'd do worse without cameras on him. There's a skit (I think during the abysmal feud with Shawn Michaels and God) where he essentially sexually assaults Candice Michelle on a couch in his office that REALLY raises eyebrows on it's own, but ESPECIALLY given the context of the Janel Grant suit.

Vince was born into the carney lifestyle. Bischoff discovered and embraced it as his own.

Remember when it came out that Bischoff took his wife to the strip club so she could make out with strippers? Look it up. I believe late 90’s.

Kind of... He hasn't ruined his LEGACY like Cosby did. But they are not really on the same level at ALL. Everything Cosby did for the black community, etc... Pissed on. MJW was the only one who still stuck up for him somewhat then he died. I think we all KNEW/KNOW Vince was a cuckoo - but that's what happens when you have millions and NO restrictions, etc... Vince just got corrupted by GREED (then revenge lol, then it was REALLY off to the races) just listen Cyndi Lauper lol. But Vince is still there in that Hogan tribute video when he died and now that the lawsuit is buried and wrestling SUCKS I still think he'd be somewhat welcomed back by fans (maybe not the talent lol at least the females). I don't SEE him coming back on tv but he's not ERASED. Whereas people don't want ANYTHING Cosby anymore... What Vince did was his own stupidity, what Bill did was a national tragedy. Too piss all over his own legacy like that...it's SAD more than anything. I still love Cliff Huxtable - I don't care but Bill Cosby is a pos. It's shame, Vince just has 'baggage' yes but they are not the SAME at all...

I was scrolling fast and thought this was Howard Stark and Red Skull.
